TDx and DeS in Keys

In the current edition (06/2016) of Keys magazine, you will find a test of our first two 500 series modules, Transient Designer TDx and De-Esser DeS. Both units convinced the mag all along the line. “Outstanding sound quality”, “high quality build” and “intuitive handling” as well as a “fair price” were confirmed for both units.

Perhaps the most popular feature of the TDx is that you can continuously blend between the processed and the unprocessed signal. In terms of the DeS, the two frequency bands which can be used independently are highlighted. Furthermore the special options of the SPL De-Esser are pointed out as unique features: “unlike traditional compression methods the unit provides an alternative way to process signals based on phase cancellation developed in the 90’s. This procedure is much more unobtrusive, simplifies control and creates a transparent sound.”
