Peter Waschke, managing director of the SPL electronics GmbH, will leave the company’s active service on the 30th of September 2018 and start his well-deserved retirement. On the 1st of October 2018, Dipl. Ing. Heinz Middelkamp will become the third managing director, alongside Hermann Gier and Wolfgang Neumann.
Heinz Middelkamp started his career at SPL as a student assistant in 1994. In 1995, after he successfully completed his degree course, he became production manager at SPL. On the 1st of April in 1999 he founded ‘Middelkamp Fertigungstechnik’ (from 2002, Middelkamp GmbH & Co. KG) and took over manufacturing of most of the SPL products. Fortunately, there was never a spatial separation – Middelkamp GmbH & Co. KG and SPL electronics GmbH were always located in the same building. The long-standing personal relationship with both managing directors Hermann Gier and Wolfgang Neumann as well as the rest of the SPL team, will assure a smooth entry for Heinz Middelkamp.

Heinz Middelkamp will, apart from his role as managing director, inter alia take care of the domains production management, purchase of materials and quality control.
