Venos – Walkthrough with Thierry Migeotte

Welcome to the Venos Walkthrough video by Thierry Migeotte.
Thierry is a sound engineer and acoustics specialist with extensive experience in mixing, mastering, and large-scale audio systems. His work spans studio production, and immersive formats, with a strong emphasis on musical integrity and long-term translation.

He is known for a listening-first approach: analyzing intent, context, and acoustics before making technical decisions. His work favors clarity, proportion, and restraint over processing, and he considers stereo to be a truthful reference, allowing the room and the listener’s perception to create immersion. In parallel with his production work, he has designed and optimized critical listening environments and complex audio systems worldwide. His expertise in acoustics and system integration was recognized with the CEDIA 2014 Golden Award for Technical Design (Acoustics).

Thierry’s credits include artist such as Shanice, Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle, Jill Scott, John Legend, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Maroon 5, Robin Thicke, Jennifer Hudson, Melissa Etheridge, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, India Arie – just to name a few.

In this video, Thierry gives you an in-depth overview and shares his thoughts about the brand-new SPL Venos stereo bus compressor.
